Transports

The road network is excellent, but the traffic can be dangerous. Taxis are painted different colours in the seven emirates. Those of Dubai and Abu Dhabi are equipped with meters. History of the United Arab Emirates
Prehistory and Antiquity: the first human settlements date back to the Bronze Age.

1958: Discovery of oil in Abu Dhabi.
